Dr Thomas Pitham
Specialist Neurosurgeon
Dr Thomas Pitham is a highly experienced neurosurgeon dedicated to providing cutting-edge care in both spinal and cranial surgery. He completed his medical training at the University of New South Wales, with additional training at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Westmead Children’s Hospital, and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA) in Sydney.
Dr Pitham has been a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons since 2012 and currently operates at Wollongong Public and Private Hospitals. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively training new neurosurgeons, contributing to the next generation of specialists in the field.
His special interests include minimally invasive spinal fusion techniques (including XALIF and OLIF procedures) and complex brain surgery. Dr Pitham is committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements and is passionate about providing safe, effective surgical care tailored to each patient.
